Most of these weapons were previously connected to Exotic quests removed and put into the Destiny Content Vault or Exotics that were connected to previous seasons. While everyone was busy spamming Hard Light in Trials of Osiris, Tommy’s Matchbook was quietly racking up kills in both PVE and PVP. A few exotics can only drop from raid bosses, such as the Eyes of Tomorrow Rocket Launcher that only drops from the Deep Stone Crypt raid. Exotic quests are a different story. Max stability man. But you can only buy bounties for the non-battle pass ones, and they’re not cheap, because you will probably run out of Encrypted Bits pretty quickly if you buy a lot of them and you’re not literally farming every daily bounty you can from the bunkers.
